Some 120 km eastern Bandare Abâs (1616 km. S.E. Tehrân) you find the charming and quiet town of Minâb, anciant Amanis. Northern and eastern parts of this city is mountainous and central and western parts are plain. The climate of this city is warm and humid. There is savanna-type country around this town interspersed with numerous trees with thorny branches and gnarled trunks. Because of such a dense vegetations, the local people call it forest. حدود 120 کیلومتری شرق بندر عباس (1616 کیلومتر SE تهران) شما شهر جذاب و آرام میناب را پیدا می کنید.
بخش های شمالی و شرقی این شهرستان کوهستانی و بخش های مرکزی و غربی هموار است.آب و هوای این شهر گرم و مرطوب است. دشت بی درخت در اطراف این شهر پراکنده با درختان متعدد با شاخه های خاردار و تنه بزرگ وجود دارد. از آنجا که از چنین گیاهان متراکم، مردم محلی آن را جنگل. اگر چه خرما مزارع و کشت انبه در اینجا وجود دارد. زمین های کشاورزی و باغ های میناب از رودخانه آبیاری می شوند.
